Lee Sheeran, 40, of Higher Parr Street in Fingerpost, is accused of being in charge of a dog named Sky, believed to be an Irish Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier, which was allegedly dangerously out of control and caused injury to a woman.
The incident is alleged to have taken place at the Premier convenience store on Broad Oak Road, Parr, on Sunday, January 18.
Sheeran appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 5, where he pleaded not guilty to one count of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
The case has been adjourned for trial, which is scheduled to take place at Wirral Magistrates’ Court later this year.
Sheeran was granted unconditional bail until the trial, scheduled to be heard on Monday, November 16.
