Emergency services responded to a light aircraft which had crashed upon landing at Adversane, south of Billingshurst, at around 5.40pm yesterday evening (August 10). The pilot of the aircraft was taken to hospital after sustaining injuries. A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Emergency services responded after a light-aircraft crashed upon landing at Adversane, south of Billingshurst, at about 5.40pm on August 10. "Officers assisted the ambulance service and the fire service at the scene. A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said; "South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to reports of a person in need of medical attention following a light aircraft crash in Adversane, Billingshurst, shortly after 5.20pm on Monday August 10.
