Town Hall chiefs said that the normal bin collection schedule has been disrupted due to 'unavoidable circumstances' in some areas of the borough. A spokesman said: "We aim to return to collect missed bins within two working days, so please continue to leave your bins out and check the council website for information. "Our crews are working hard to empty your bins, including providing waste collections at weekends. Bolton Council website states that operational issues were due to streets being missed off the collection rounds since Friday. However, in the most recent cases those reasons have not applied and The Bolton News has asked for more details on the operational issues affecting the service.
