Gwent Police received reports that two men were fighting on Commercial Street in Newport at around 5.30pm on August, 6. A 30-year-old sustained injuries and was taken to hospital. A 59-year-old man has also agreed to attend a "voluntary interview". A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "We received a report of a disturbance on Commercial Street, Newport at around 5.30pm on Thursday 6 August. "A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment; his injuries are not life-threatening.
