Bolton Mountain Rescue Team volunteers attend eight incidents in under a month

The volunteer team responded to eight call-outs between July 7 and August 4, working alongside emergency services including North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), the North West Air Ambulance (NWAA), Lancashire Constabulary, and fellow mountain rescue teams.
On July 14, mountain rescuers attended Roddlesworth Plantations in Tockholes, where a 44-year-old woman had suffered an ankle injury.
A more sombre incident followed on July 24 when Bolton Mountain Rescue Team was asked to assist Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team in the search for missing man David Henry in Bamber Bridge, near Preston.
In a statement, Bolton Mountain Rescue Team said its condolences were with his family and friends.
Summarising the recent incidents in a social media post, Bolton Mountain Rescue Team highlighted the variety of emergencies faced by its volunteers, from medical incidents and injuries to missing person searches and assisting partner emergency services.
