Rep. Eugene Vindman, left, and Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones listen to testimony Friday during a meeting with veterans. ***Veterans are generally pleased with the service they receive at the Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Health Care Center, Rep. Eugene Vindman said Friday, but they often face cancelations and long waits for appointments. Vindman made the comments at a veterans roundtable meeting he hosted in Fredericksburg with his fellow Democrat, Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones. He said he and other members of the organization use the Fredericksburg VA clinic frequently. “Fredericksburg Health Care Center has 592 onboard employees as of August 2026, with 80 candidates in various stages of onboarding,” Slaven wrote.
