Donegal animal rescuer Tara Lafferty has re-launched a major fundraising drive to secure a permanent home for 19 animals after more than three years of searching for a new base. Tara, who runs Animals in Donegal Aid in Rossnowlagh, says she needs to raise €60,000 within a month to secure a field. She said that the €60,000 would go towards securing the land, transporting the animals and beginning the necessary groundwork. If the current deadline cannot be met or extended, Tara intends to continue fundraising until suitable land can be secured.
