A 69-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday morning after, police said, he barricaded himself inside a home in the Cobbs Creek section of West Philadelphia after he allegedly shot a man. Police located the suspected gunman at that home, however, officials said, the man barricaded himself inside the property for several hours. By about 4:25 a.m., officials said, police had taken the man into custody and the barricade situation ended. Police did not provide additional information on the suspect or what charges he may face following this incident.
