The UKHSA has also warned of potential issues with managing medicines, staffing problems due to external factors such as transport issues, and increased demand for power, which could exceed capacity. Other sectors may also begin to observe impacts, such as travel delays, while water-related incidents, including risks from cold-water shock and drowning, are also expected to increase.
