Reverend Bernard Cocker, founder and CEO of International Aid Trust, was named a laureate of the Order of St Panteleimon last week. Since 2024, awards have been made to those from other nations who have provided "outstanding support in the Ukrainian people's struggle for freedom and independence". Cocker recently attended an event where decommissioned ambulances and pickup trucks were sent from Bolton to the Ukrainian front lines to bring aid to those in need. The campaign, supported strongly by Bolton Council, helps distribute aid and save lives during the ongoing conflict with funds raised for the International Aid Trust. "I accepted this award on behalf of the entire International Aid Trust family, whose love, sacrifice and faithfulness have made this ministry possible for the past 35 years."
