Council urges residents to check on neighbours as temperatures soar

According to the Met Office forecast, temperatures in St Helens are expected to reach around 29C on Tuesday before rising to 32C on Wednesday and remaining around 32C on Thursday.
Ahead of the hot weather, St Helens Borough Council has issued advice to help people stay safe during the heat.

The council said older people, young children, those living alone, and people with long-term health conditions can be particularly vulnerable during periods of hot weather.
