Saltdean Lido will play host to over 16,000 dogs and their owners as part of Dogtember, a four-weekend dog-friendly swimming event in its 40m crescent pool. The lido will dedicate its heated outdoor pool to canine guests this September as part of Dogtember, now in its tenth year. Dogtember is Saltdean Lido’s fundraising event, raising money to help keep the pool and community building open. Organisers credit the success of the event to its sponsor Petgevity and a team of 85 volunteers.
