The British Council has opened applications for its Welsh Language Project, which sees educators spend 10 months teaching in Patagonia, Argentina.
Each year, teachers are sent to the Welsh settlements of Y Wladfa, where they deliver Welsh language lessons and promote cultural activities.
Ruth Cocks, director of British Council Wales, said: "For almost 30 years, the Welsh Language Project has strengthened the unique cultural and linguistic ties between Wales and Patagonia.
"This unique opportunity is perfect for Welsh teachers who are passionate about our language and culture and keen to share that enthusiasm with Welsh language communities across the Patagonian region."
The British Council is seeking two teachers to take part in the 2027 edition of the project.
