Police have arrested a man over an attack on a delivery driver during disorder in Glasgow city centre last month. A traffic cone was thrown at Muhammad Jawad Yaqoob, 31, following an anti-immigration protest at Glasgow Green on 25 July. Officers have charged a 29-year-old man with racially-aggravated assault over the incident, which was filmed and widely shared on social media. He was arrested in the Govan area of the city. Police Scotland said a major investigation team was trying to identify more suspects and further arrests are planned.
