Coordinated by award-winning market operator Independent Street, the Earlestown Artisan Market will debut on Sunday, September 27, in partnership with St Helens Borough Council. It follows the success of the St Helens Artisan Market, which launched in March 2026, and aims to replicate that achievement with a vibrant, community-focused event in Earlestown town centre. "The new Artisan Market is exactly the sort of event we want to showcase at the rejuvenated Market Square and provides another reason for people to visit Earlestown and support local businesses and traders." The new market will take place on the final Sunday of each month and is designed to complement Earlestown’s long-established Friday retail market, which has served the community for more than 700 years, and the Saturday flea market. Lisa Cowley, founder of Independent Street, said: "Following the incredible success of St Helens Artisan Market, we’re absolutely delighted to have been invited to launch in Earlestown.
