The bus will be open from 10am to 4pm on August 12 and aims to support the National Year of Reading 2026. The programme is designed to foster a love of reading in the community through hands-on and creative activities. Gavin Peck, CEO of The Works, said: "We’re very excited to be bringing the Find Your Story Bus to Newport. This visit forms part of The Works’ READ pledge, which aims to raise £150,000, donate 250,000 books, and improve literacy in disadvantaged communities. The initiative is backed by research from The Works, which found that one in three UK families now have fewer than 10 books at home.
