Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault that occurred in the area of Lower Main Street in Letterkenny. A man is believed to have been assaulted by another man at that location. He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries. "We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. As always, we are appealing for any available dash-cam footage from the area," said a Garda spokesperson.
