The Roads Policing Tasking Team carried out the operation alongside officers from the Taplow and Three Mile Cross Roads Policing Bases yesterday, August 10. Officers issued 52 Traffic Offence Reports (TORs), including 16 for using a mobile phone while driving and 25 for failing to wear a seatbelt. A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "Every one of these offences has the potential to contribute to serious collisions and puts other road users at unnecessary risk. "Road safety remains a priority and we will continue to carry out proactive operations across the Thames Valley to keep our roads safe. "If you choose to drive irresponsibly and put other road users at risk, be warned: we will identify you, we will stop you, and we will take robust enforcement action.
