Dramatic footage has emerged online of a ground handling car colliding with a private jet at Milan Linate Airport (LIN) in the north of Italy yesterday morning. The Hawker Beechcraft 400A private jet that found itself on the end of the collision with the Fiat Panda ground handling car is said to have borne the registration I-AERB. Luckily, no injuries were reported as a result of the collision, although both the car and the jet sustained considerable damage as a result. Per Flightradar24, KLM flight KL1615 was due to land at Milan Linate Airport at 12:00 PM, but had to instead divert to nearby Malpensa (MXP), where it touched down at 11:58 AM. The other inbound flight to meet this fate was a domestic service, namely ITA Airways flight AZ2036 from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO).
