The property company Abri became one of the biggest landlords in Bracknell when the social housing association Silva Homes merged with it in October 2023. It has applied to pass costs of redecoration and roofing works on to leaseholders. This is being done through an application Abri has made to the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber), an independent legal body that decides residential property and leasehold disputes. Letters have been sent for QTLA redecoration works done between September 2021 and October 2022, and QWs from July 2023 to August 2024. They have also been sent for QLTA roofing works done between July and November 2021, and QWs from July 2023 to August 2024.
