Coggeshall's St Peter ad Vincula Church will host its 38th Annual Flower Festival on this year's theme "The Women Who Made Us Bloom". The event, which attracts around 1,500 visitors annually, will feature more than 22 floral displays, each highlighting the achievements and influence of inspiring women in history. Preparations for the festival began in January, with around 30 flower arrangers working for four days to create the displays. The festival will open at 10am on Saturday, August 29 with The Colne Valley Endeavour Brass Band officially opening the event. Historical talks will be given throughout the weekend, providing information about the church and the village of Coggeshall.
