Nzingoula contributed heavily to Nürnberg’s solidity in the second half of the season, winning a tackle every seven minutes of football he played on average. Bundesliga football this year, Nzingoula contributed one goal and two assists, but those numbers certainly could’ve been higher. He averaged 1.83 chances created per 90 minutes, putting him in the top 7% in the division for that metric. Furthermore, his expected goals were up at almost one every two games, putting him in the division’s top 2% for expected goals by central midfielders per 90 minutes. Evidently, he can also contribute further up the field, and with time, will only become more prolific.
