The Conservative Party leader announced the commitment as part of the party’s New Deal for Young People, which aims to expand opportunities for 18 to 21-year-olds and will be fully funded.
Mrs Badenoch said: "Congratulations to all the young people across North West Essex receiving their results and taking the next step towards their future.
"Uttlesford and Chelmsford benefit from a thriving local economy, with businesses offering excellent apprenticeship opportunities that help young people gain the skills employers need.
"The Conservatives New Deal for Young People will expand access to high-quality apprenticeships, ensuring that young people can build successful careers without having to leave their local area.
The scheme will increase the number of apprenticeships by removing funding caps and offering employers up to £5,000 for each British apprentice they hire.
