In terms of talent, the Atlanta Falcons' cornerback room entered training camp as one of the weaker areas on the roster. Terrell was still great, but Mike Hughes was coming off of a major down year and Avieon Terrell was very unproven, so having a lot of depth options hasn't done the Falcons much. So naturally, expectations were low for the CB room entering training camp, but Hughes has cleared each and every one of them. Mike Hughes' resurgent summer has given the Falcons what they neededGiven how Mike Hughes has looked to start the summer, he's also turned a weakness into a strength. Hughes was frequently picked on as the weak link in coverage last season, but the Falcons don't think history will repeat itself.
