Canopius names former Beazley exec US chief risk officerCanopius Group on Tuesday named former Beazley executive Rebecca Simeone as U.S. chief risk officer, effective Sept. 8. Ms. Simeone, who will be based in New York, will report to incoming U.S. CEO Nadine Moore and Group Chief Risk Officer Sheldon Lacy. Ms. Moore is set to join Canopius in September. Serena Lee previously held a combined role as U.S. general counsel and chief risk officer at Canopius. Ms. Simeone is also vice chair of the enterprise risk management committee at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association.
