Right-hander Bryse Wilson elected free agency after being outrighted by the Brewers, relays Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. Wilson has done the best work of his career in Milwaukee, as he also had decent numbers for the Brewers between 2023-24. Wilson has a 4.24 ERA across 23 1/3 MLB frames this year, albeit with a below-average 18% strikeout rate. He punched out 23.5% of batters faced but allowed more than six earned runs per nine with the Phillies’ Triple-A affiliate earlier in the year. Wilson worked as a starter in the minors but has mostly pitched in long relief as a big leaguer.
