Billy Wray, 27, was arrested in December last year when he was visiting his sister in Clacton.
Police stopped him on the A133 when they saw him driving “all over the place” and later found packets of cannabis when they searched his car, Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard.
Serena Berry, prosecuting, said Wray was taken to a police station where they strip searched him and found a bag of cocaine.
He admitted one count each of drink driving, driving without insurance, and driving while disqualified in relation to the offences committed last month.
He must pay a £154 victim surcharge and £170 in court costs, which will be taken from his benefits.
