A 13-year-old girl and a 19-year-old woman were taken to hospital in separate suspected suicide attempts in Grand Bahama and New Providence on Friday. Emergency Medical Services personnel were attending to the girl when officers arrived. Earlier on Friday, a 19-year-old woman was taken to hospital after an alleged suicide attempt in the Carmichael Road area near Golden Isles Road. Officers from the Carmichael Road Police Station responded and met Emergency Medical Services personnel at the scene. The woman regained consciousness after being assessed by medical personnel and was taken to hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
