Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty is expanding its fragrance offering with a second eau de parfum, Rare Beginnings. The 12-hour-wear fragrance is a customisable fruity-floral scent that is inspired by “the spirit of new beginnings”, and builds on the success of Rare Beauty’s first eau de parfum, Rare, which launched in July 2025. Rare Beginnings Eau de Parfum opens with “bright pear nectar, blooms into lush gardenia and jasmine, and melts into warm vanilla bean that lingers on the skin”, read a statement from the brand. Like the original Rare fragrance, this new scent has been designed with accessibility in mind. Rare Beginnings eau de parfum costs £72, while the two Fragrance Layering Balms retail for £18 each.
