The 164th Jayanti of Swami Ramakrishnananda was celebrated with devotion and spiritual fervour at Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, on Monday, 10 August 2026. The day began with Mangala Arati, followed by Temple Pradakshina and a special Arati to Swami Ramakrishnananda at Ramakrishnananda Mandapam. A special Puja to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, followed by Sri Ramakrishna Homa, offerings and bhajans, was conducted as part of the celebrations. A special discourse on “Life & Teachings of Swami Ramakrishnananda” was delivered at Swami Ramakrishnananda Hall by Swami Vimokshananda Ji (Tamil) and Swami Balabhadranandaji, Assistant General Secretary, Belur Math. The celebrations concluded with Aratrikam, bringing together devotees and well-wishers in remembrance of the life, devotion and service of Swami Ramakrishnananda, one of the direct disciples of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna.
