Hyderabad: Former BRS MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s condition remains critical, with doctors planning a 72-hour neurological reassessment on Wednesday to assess his prognosis. He was admitted after a massive pulmonary embolism that led to cardiac collapse and shock. Doctors revived him after prolonged CPR and advanced life support before shifting him to Hyderabad. Though his heart and respiratory functions remain stable with minimal support, medical evaluations indicate possible anoxic brain damage due to prolonged downtime. A multidisciplinary team continues treatment, while Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy visited the hospital and assured government support.
