Huntsville, Texas - On August 6, 2026, Mike Bruce, 87, went home to be with the Lord and beloved wife. Mike Bruce was born on November 4, 1938, in West Sandy, Texas to Henry Bruce and Anna Belle Nixon Bruce. After Mike and Joanne married on November 25,1966, the couple made their home in Huntsville, Texas, where Mike joined his family business, Bruce Plumbing Company. Mike is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanne, parents Henry and Anna Belle Bruce, two sons Michael Bruce and Jason Bruce, brothers Henry Jr., Ray, James, and twin brother Pat and sister Vergie. Mike is survived by his son Kevin Bruce (wife Beatrice), daughter Stephanie Bruce (dog Hugo Boss), brother Blue Bruce, granddaughter Maddison Kosters (husband Gerrit Kosters), granddaughter Regan Bruce (life partner Kyle Laake), grandkids Damian Bruce, Malcolm Bruce, Madison Goss, Kevan Sims, and Kimberly Sims, great grandchildren, Adam, Levi, Cory, Bryson, and Emma, along with numerous other dear family members and close friends.
