Gopher women’s hockey well representedFive members of the Minnesota women’s hockey program have been selected to represent the United States and Canada in a pair of three-game series in Richmond, British Columbia, from Aug. 12-15. Bella Fanale, Madison Kaiser and Ava Lindsay were named to the U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team, while Chloe Primerano earned a spot on Canada’s National Women’s Development Team and incoming freshman Adrianna Milani was selected to Canada’s National Women’s Under-18 Team. Milani was named to Canada’s 22-player National Women’s Under-18 Team. The incoming Gopher is one of six players on the roster who helped Canada earn silver at the 2026 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship. The U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team and Canada’s National Women’s Development Team will meet in three games, while the U.S. Under-18 Women’s Select Team and Canada’s National Women’s Under-18 Team will also face off in a three-game series.
