Pennsylvania Democrats are showing signs that they are done with Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). A July 2026 Quinnipiac University poll of Pennsylvania found that Fetterman’s approval rating is being propped up by Republicans:Republicans (77 - 12 percent) approve of the way Fetterman is handling his job, while Democrats (69 - 19 percent) disapprove. Among independents, 48 percent disapprove of the way Fetterman is handling his job and 44 percent approve. Quinnipiac also found that Fetterman has a 19% approval rating with Pennsylvania Democrats. Fetterman’s rightward shift has already enraged his supporters, but new reporting finds the Democrat is taking requests from Trump.
