Vertiv to create up to 300 new jobs amid plans for Letterkenny expansion

The organisation plans to expand its manufacturing and testing footprint across Ireland and the north-west.
US tech company Vertiv, which specialises in data centre and IT services, has submitted an application to Donegal County Council for adding 7,000 sq m of space to its Letterkenny facility, which will generate up to 300 new jobs.
The organisation has plans to further develop its presence across Ireland, particularly in the north-west, and is recruiting for its sites in counties Donegal, Derry, Limerick and Dublin.
According to Vertiv, the organisation has onboarded more than 500 employees across its local facilities since the beginning of 2026.
Commenting on the announcement, Taoiseach Micheál Martin, TD said, “Vertiv’s decision to expand in Donegal and create hundreds of new skilled jobs is very welcome news for the region and for Ireland.
