The campaign, launched jointly by the GBA and Bengaluru Traffic Police, aims to free public spaces occupied by abandoned vehicles and improve road safety and traffic movement.
The GBA said the drive would be intensified in the coming days after additional resources are deployed.
Authorities have appealed to citizens to report abandoned vehicles through the BTP Astram app.
After verification, officials will issue notices giving owners seven days to remove their vehicles after paying the applicable penalties.
Officials said the initiative is intended to reclaim public spaces, reduce traffic bottlenecksand improve the city’s overall road environment.
