Bengaluru: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has imposed temporary traffic restrictions on the Peenya Elevated Flyover (Dr. Sri Shivakumara Swamiji Flyover) on National Highway 4 to facilitate asphalt resurfacing work.
According to the Bengaluru Traffic Police, vehicular movement towards Bengaluru city on the elevated flyover will remain closed during night hours from July 28 to August 5.
The closure applies to the stretch on the flyover between the Kennametal Upper Ramp and the SRS Down Ramp.
Motorists travelling from Nelamangala towards Bengaluru have been advised to take the service road below the flyover.
The traffic diversion has been implemented to ensure the safe execution of resurfacing works and minimise inconvenience to commuters.
