British Transport Police were called to Cholsey railway station at around 4pm on Monday, August 10, following reports of a person on the tracks. Great Western Railway (GWR) said a person had been struck by a train, but police later confirmed that the man was unharmed. All lines reopened by 6.30pm, but delays and disruption continued into the evening, with some journeys still affected at 9pm.
