Goshen, IN - Loretta Kuhns, age 78 of Goshen, died peacefully in her sleep at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning, Aug. 8, at her residence. Loretta accepted Christ into her life at the age of 17 and was a long time member of Fairview Mennonite Church in Etna Green. On Dec. 6, 1964, Loretta married Lotus Kuhns at Fairview. Loretta is survived by her husband of 61 years, 8 months and 8 days, Lotus Kuhns of Goshen; a son, Nathan (Laura) Kuhns of Portage, Michigan; 3 grandchildren, Kevin Kuhns, Alexis Kuhns, and Sierra Kuhns, all of Portage, Michigan; a great-grandson, Sawyer Stoyanoff; and 5 siblings, Marie Graber of Nappanee, Ray Nissley of Goshen, Mary Bontrager of Nappanee, Glenn Nissley of Burr Oak, Michigan, and Judy (Leo) Howell of Rockvale, Tennessee. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Bethel Mennonite Church and burial will follow in Fairview Mennonite Church Cemetery.
