According to witnesses, around 2 p.m. that day, a series of gunfire interrupted the quiet of a Miami Gardens neighborhood near Northwest 35th Avenue and Northwest 203rd Street. Officers arrived to find an adult man on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound to the face. Miami Gardens police confirmed the second suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
