I have been a resident of Natarajan Gulzar Road (Tikkil Road) for over three decades and I have never heard the kind of noise that I am hearing these days. The youth are using the road as if it is a race road. Both the speed and the noise of the bikes they drive are unbearable. The kind of silencers they are using for their two-wheelers produce a very high- decibel sound causing inconvenience to senior citizens like me. The police officers may direct its force to check the noise levels of the two wheelers, confiscate the ones violating rules, and save us from this sound menace.
