Goshen, IN - Loren Stauffer, who was employed for 31 years at Goshen College in a variety of administrative positions including staff personnel manager and manager of the bookstore, died at his home at Greencroft Retirement Communities in Goshen, on July 28. Following retirement from Goshen College, Loren was instrumental in opening the Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County ReStore and managed it for five years. Loren was born in Elkhart County, to Earl and Frances Stauffer on June 20, 1938. Surviving family includes three children, Greg (Camille) Stauffer, Broomfield, Colorado; Lisa (Todd) Mayen, Bailey, Colorado; and Ryan (Caitlin) Stauffer, Portland, Oregan; and four grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson "Jack", Larkin "Ry" and Finnegan "Finn" Stauffer. Loren was predeceased by his wife, Miriam; his mother, Frances, and father, Earl; his brother, Norman; and his first wife, Shirley.
