SIR digitisation picks up pace, crosses 75 per cent in Telangana

Hyderabad: With less than a week remaining for the Special Intensive Revision exercise in Telangana, officials have completed the digitisation of 75.79 per cent of enumeration forms across the state.
Official records show that out of 3,38,26,448 voters, enumeration forms were distributed to all individuals, with digitisation completed for 2,56,36,498 voters so far.
Yadadri Bhongir leads the rankings with 93.48 per cent digitisation, followed by Jangaon at 90.92 per cent and Medak at 90.03 per cent.
Meanwhile, 23 districts recorded digitisation levels between 80 and 89 per cent.
Conversely, urban regions lagged significantly behind in the drive, with Hyderabad recording the lowest progress at 53.98 per cent, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri at 58.66 per cent and Rangareddy at 61.77 per cent.
