While acknowledging that the pace of work had improved compared to the past, Chandrababu said it must be accelerated further. He urged construction companies to treat participation in the Amaravati project as a major opportunity and execute the works with maximum efficiency. Emphasising sustainable urban development, Chandrababu instructed officials to increase greenery alongside road construction across the capital region. The Chief Minister said he would personally monitor the progress of Amaravati works to ensure projects are completed within the stipulated timelines. Municipal administration minister P Narayana, chief secretary G Sai Prasad, senior officials and representatives of the contracting agencies attended the review meeting.
