The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Namibia hosted its first-ever Open House on Monday at Droombos, Windhoek, bringing together key stakeholders, partners, and the public to highlight collaborative efforts in driving sustainable development across the country. The Open House drew a broad audience, including representatives from government institutions, development organizations, civil society, academia, the private sector, youth groups, media, and local communities. “The Open House reflects UNDP Namibia’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and partnership. The Open House also created an opportunity for young people, students and school learners to engage with the Sustainable Development Goals, explore career and volunteering opportunities, and experience innovative technologies and development solutions. UNDP Namibia said it will continue working with government, development partners, civil society, the private sector and communities to advance inclusive growth, strengthen resilience and accelerate progress towards the SDGs.
