Nagarkurnool: District Collector Hemanta Keshav Patil has directed officials to expedite the rehabilitation of families residing in the Nallamala Reserve Forest by ensuring quality housing, agricultural land, and essential civic amenities at the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) Colony being developed at Bacharam village in Peddakothapally mandal. The Collector said the government is committed to providing every displaced family with a dignified living environment and directed officials to complete the housing project within the stipulated time while maintaining quality standards. He directed officials to issue land allotment documents by August 10, with each beneficiary family receiving five acres of agricultural land and a 250-square-yard house site. The Collector also reviewed the provision of basic infrastructure in the proposed R&R colony, including roads, drinking water supply, electricity, sanitation, drainage, internal roads and street lighting. Officials informed the meeting that approvals for electricity supply had already been obtained, and the Collector instructed them to complete the remaining works without delay.
