The annual Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Giri Pradakshina will be held from 5 a.m. on Tuesday on the occasion of Guru Purnima, with thousands of devotees expected to participate in the spiritual event. Speaking at a press conference at the R&B Guest House on Monday, Dr Satyam said the programme is purely a spiritual initiative and is not linked to any political party, religion or community. Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar and several public representatives are expected to participate in the event. Describing Kondagattu as one of Telangana’s prominent spiritual destinations, Dr Satyam said the temple attracts devotees from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. He also thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for giving priority to the development of major temples, including Kondagattu.
