Warangal: District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Dr. B. Ravi Rathod conducted surprise inspections at several private hospitals in Thorrur on Tuesday to ensure compliance with the Clinical Establishments Act. The inspections covered Dr. Ganesh Scan and Dental Hospital, Nirmal Hospital, Sai Multispeciality Hospital, and Vijayalakshmi Private Hospital. The DMHO directed hospital managements to strictly follow government norms and obtain all mandatory permissions. He warned that hospitals and scanning centres operating without valid authorisation would face strict action under the Clinical Establishments Act and the PCPNDT Act, including sealing of the establishments and legal proceedings. Deputy DMHO Rajkumar and other health officials accompanied the inspection team.
