Johnston County Little League from Clayton, North Carolina, is the 2026 Little League Softball World Series champion. North Carolina defeated Central (Owensboro, Kentucky) 2-0 in Sunday's final to claim one of the most coveted trophies in youth sports. North Carolina made it 2-0 in the bottom of the third when Campbell Swearengin scored on a throwing error. The win marks the second time in the last three years that a team from North Carolina has won it all. It's the first time Johnston County Little League has won a World Series.
