Tirupati: Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati, has been awarded an Excellent Rank in the performance review of the TePP Outreach cum Cluster Innovation Centre (TOCIC) conducted by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR)-PRISM, New Delhi. The Minutes of the Meeting issued by DSIR-PRISM were presented to Vice-Chancellor Prof V Uma by TOCIC coordinator Prof P Josthna and co-coordinator Dr D Sujatha in the presence of Registrar Prof R Usha on Tuesday. The TOCIC supports innovators, startups and institutions by providing financial assistance ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 10 lakh based on the stage and nature of their projects. Congratulating the TOCIC team, the Vice Chancellor appreciated their efforts in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship through the DSIR-PRISM programme. She expressed hope that the team would continue supporting innovators and startups and bring further recognition to the University.
